This innovative format combines the effective cleansing of oils with the convenience and mess-free nature of a solid making it perfect for travel and those who find liquid oils drippy or difficult to control. The balm is built on a base of nourishing Shea Butter and Mango Seed Butter which begin to melt at body temperature. As you massage the balm onto dry skin it transforms into a silky oil that uses the like-dissolves-like principle to bind with makeup sunscreen and sebum. Even waterproof mascara long-wear foundation and high-SPF sunscreens melt away effortlessly without tugging or irritating the delicate eye area. Unlike many cleansing balms that rely on PEG emulsifiers (which some find irritating) we use Polyglyceryl-4 Laurate and Polyglyceryl-6 Caprylate gentle coconut-derived emulsifiers that create a milky emulsion when water is added. This emulsion rinses completely clean leaving no film or residue that can interfere with subsequent products. A touch of Papaya Enzyme (Papain) provides gentle daily exfoliation dissolving dead skin cells for smoother brighter skin without any physical scrubbing. Vitamin E (Tocopherol) nourishes and protects while providing antioxidant benefits. The subtle natural scent comes from food-grade vanilla extract. How to use: Scoop a marble-sized amount with the provided spatula (to maintain hygiene). Apply to dry face and massage for 60-90 seconds enjoying the transformation from solid to oil. Add a splash of water to emulsify then rinse thoroughly. Follow with a water-based second cleanser for complete double cleansing.
